Yes, for what ever reason if you need to change the fee for a student other than what the system has defined you can override/update. However do remember each year the fee will be rest to the one you've defined under Student Types.
To update the fee for a student, follow the steps below:
1. Click on Students menu at the top
2. Search for the students(s)
3. Click on the Checkbox > Batch Actions > Update Fee Select
4. Enter the amount you want the fee to be and click on OK
