e-maktab currently has three roles that can be assigned to a user.
If the user's role is set to admin, they will have access to the complete system including all functions and privileges.
When creating a supervisor role, a student type must be selected. The purpose of this role is to offer access to only those students belonging to a type the user is assigned. This also means the supervisor only get to see the parents belonging to students he/she has access to instead of all the parents.
The supervisor can view all other information but can not EDIT or DELETE. They can only EDIT and DELETE records created by themselves.
Teachers can only view students assigned to a classroom they are teaching. Besides that a teacher can log attendances and incidents for these students. You can define multiple classroom a teacher has permission for. So for example if a teacher who teaches two classrooms, you can select the two classrooms when creating a login for the teacher.
This will mean that he/she will have access to view all students belonging to the classrooms selected.
